In recent weeks, Southern California has seen a spike in COVID-19 cases. With our headquarters in Carson, CA, the safety and wellbeing of our employees is of utmost importance. At Gordon Labs, we are taking strong preventative measures to fight against coronavirus and help stop the spread.
All employees are required to wear their Sonovia face mask. These state-of-the-art anti-viral masks have been proven to kill 99.9% of viruses, including coronavirus.
Social distancing applies at all time. Even with the masks, employees must keep their distance from one another. If meetings must take place, they are done with all participants wearing face masks, and no more than four people are allowed together in a room at any time.
Daily blood oxygen monitoring is available. All managers have pulse oximeters, and tests can be done every day upon request. This is a great early warning device for someone who might be in the early stages of the disease.
Vitamins C and D are provided to all employees. Both vitamins are known to be strong immune boosters, which is especially beneficial during this unprecedented time.
Disinfection protocols are a top priority. We have a regular disinfection of our facilities to ensure cleanliness at all times.
All employees should wash their hands frequently. We have installed new, touchless sinks in the restrooms to further help prevent the spread of germs.
Hand sanitizers are on all desks. Employees can also take sanitizers home.
All employees should stay home if they interact with anyone who has any symptoms. Wherever you go, you bring all the people you interact with back to Gordon. We want to ensure that our work family and their loved ones continue to stay safe.
Testing is encouraged on a regular basis. Even if you don’t have symptoms, you can carry the virus and spread this disease.
